June 29 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Support groups, both in residential and non-residential settings, have the potential to be a powerful tool for connection and healing. How do we effectively facilitate these crucial settings during COVID-19? During this 90-minute interactive training, we will examine some of the unique dynamics of support group, the benefits and challenges survivors might experience while participating, and practical tools that advocates facilitating support group can utilize. This training will empower advocates to work with groups using approaches that are strengths-base and centered on survivors’ autonomy and resiliency. All this will be considered through the experience of remote technology methods.

This training is delivered via ZOOM and is free.
