2026 Survivor Services Day at the Capitol

April 16 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Join the Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (MCEDSV) for Survivor Services Day at the Capitol on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the Mackinac Room of the Anderson House Office Building (124 N Capitol Ave Lansing, MI 48933). This annual event brings together advocates, nonprofit partners, policymakers, and community leaders to elevate the voices of survivors and highlight the essential services that support their healing and safety.

The day will feature informative panel discussions, engaging speakers, and opportunities to learn from leaders across Michigan’s advocacy and service sectors. A complimentary lunch will be provided to all registered participants.

This is a free event for all MCEDSV members. Early registration is strongly encouraged, as it enables MCEDSV staff to help coordinate meetings with legislators and their offices, ensuring attendees have meaningful opportunities to discuss the needs of survivors and the programs that support them. For members, information is forthcoming on mileage and hotels.

Whether you are a frontline advocate, policy partner, or community ally, Survivor Services Day is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build collective knowledge, and advance survivor-centered policy across Michigan.
