Meaningful Language Access Training
This interactive training equips nonprofit leaders and staff with practical tools to design and implement effective language access practices. Participants will explore how language access goes beyond compliance, serving as an essential strategy for building community trust, expanding reach, and ensuring services are truly accessible to all. Through activities and real-world examples, attendees will leave with a framework for language access policies and procedures that they can adapt to their organization.
This training will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 9 AM – 5 PM at The Kensington Hotel in Ann Arbor (Google Map). The Kensington Hotel offers free self-parking.
There will be a 60-minute lunch break in the afternoon to allow attendees to eat on their own. Please check out the local area to learn what is readily available. There are many options around the hotel, from quick grabs to fast food, dine-in restaurants, and more!
