Providing shelter services for people fleeing safety from abusive environments has been a cornerstone of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking service providers. Whole providing this critical service, we may find ourselves in conflict with the people we serve due to our own rules. This training is designed to reduce conflict and create the type of service provision we envision, and service recipients deserve.

This training will take place on Monday, July 13 from 9 AM – 5 PM at the Delta Hotels and Kalamazoo Conference Center, located at 2747 S 11th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 (Google Map). Delta Hotels Kalamazoo Conference Center has free self-parking available.

Free coffee, tea, and water will be available during the event. In the afternoon, there will be a scheduled break for attendees to eat on their own. Please check out the local area to learn what is readily available. There are many options around the hotel, from quick grabs to fast food, dine-in restaurants, and more!
