Ending violence takes both immediate support and systemic change, meeting urgent needs while working to dismantle barriers, uproot oppression, and build a future of safety, justice, and equity for all.
We do this by being trauma informed (responding with care and avoiding further harm), survivor-centered (listening to survivors and respecting their choices), and intersectional (understanding that systems of racism, sexism, and oppression shape how survivors experience violence and access support).
We ensure that no one stands alone. We are committed to a Michigan where safety is a right, not a privilege.
