VOCA training – Serving Survivors with a Disability

Join us for a 90 minute training focused on the resiliency and needs of survivors whose identities include visible and invisible disabilities. Thinking beyond basic physical access, we will cover a brief history of how disability rights have evolved, and work toward understanding the various ways in which people with disabilities are targeted by perpetrators. We will discuss how to coordinate with partners, identify resources, and increase understanding of disability rights and the intersections of domestic and sexual violence, and human trafficking.

This training is free and open to DV/SA agencies, and the public.
