UMOJA Community Care Corner is a space tailored to support individuals who have experienced oppression or marginalization and to find ways to use an anti-oppression and anti-racism lens to identify strategies of culture change, that enhance engagement and support for BIPOC survivors and staff members. This is a space for folx to gain peer supports, receive external professional development, and to have survivor-centered discussions with other individuals across the state of Michigan. Our Community Care Corner hours are held on the first Wednesday of the month between 1 pm and 2:30 pm via zoom (office hours that fall during Coalition recognized holidays will be rescheduled).
